New York-based cellist Nicco Mazziotto is an ardent chamber musician and orchestral player. He recently performed with artists Martin Beaver, David Geber and Karen Dreyfus at the Music Academy of the West in a performance of Schubert's Cello Quintet. He has served as principal of multiple orchestras including Music Academy's Festival Orchestra and New York Youth Symphony.

As a passionate teacher, Nicco maintains a cello studio at the Long Ridge School of Music in Stamford, Connecticut. He completed his graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music, and has participated in such festivals as Music Academy of the West, Heifetz Institute's Ashkenasi Kirshbaum Chamber Music Seminar, Bowdoin International Music Festival and the Meadowmount School of Music.
